Questions and doubts are natural, but sometimes it feels like looking for answers is wrong and an offense to the faith. This is a common misunderstanding. In seeking truth, we seek God, and that certainly is not an offense to the faith. This year, Doctor Shoemaker is giving us a safe place to ask questions, tackle big issues, and discuss controversial topics. Based on C.S. Lewis, Tolkien and their peers, this group will be known as the Inklings. Anyone with an open mind is welcome to this group, but be warned, it is not for the squeamish. Many topics covered could make you feel uncomfortable. Dr. Shoemaker warns, "It will challenge the status quo of Christianity."
