Top 5 Insane Phenomenon

Nature sometimes doesn't seem quite natural. Here are five weird phenomenon that may have you questioning your idea of normal.

5. Blood Falls

No, this iceberg is not mortally wounded. Yes, it does look nasty. This Iceberg may not actually leak blood, but it does release a key ingredient--iron. In this case, Iron Oxide. This gives the seawater a scarlet tinge.

4. Whiskey Firenado

At least this is better than the shark equivalent. Fire Devils are whirling fires produced by flame and wind. This specific instance in the video above happened only last year, and right here in Kentucky. A lake of bourbon was set ablaze at a Jim Beam factory. The resulting vortex produced quite a sight.

3. Brazilian Spider Storm

A few years back, a man caught on film what appeared to be spiders raining from the sky. This was not a sign of the apocalypse, rather a natural event. Certain species of spiders survive in large colonies, and it is believed that this colony was on large transparent webs giving the illusion of arachnid precipitation.

2. Ice Tsunami

Also known as an ice shove, this is a rather common event causing moving clumps and sheets of ice that can cause serious harm to houses and trees. These actually function much more like icebergs and are moved as the result of strong winds.

1. Tree Web Cocoons

Anyone want cotton candy? This nightmarish sight in Pakistan is not the result of a giant spider, but rather many smaller ones. This one may not have been caused by colonial behavior, but rather a flood that sent all surviving spiders climbing for higher ground.
